Study
Come
discuss the Bible -- a wonderful way to strengthen one's understanding and relationship
with God.
Bible Study meets in fall and spring at Newell UMC in the morning at 10AM and
the evening at 7PM.
Kid's
Club
Designed
for Elementary-age children, Kid's Klub is a fun place for children to get introduced
to all the amazing aspects of their Christianity. Children will play games,
make craft, and learn about their lord. It's a fun and spiritual experience
for kids!
Star
Light Puppet Theater
Entertaining,
fun, and inspirational are words that describe our puppet ministry. An outreach
of the Redstone Parish, the Star Light Puppet Company brings Biblical truths
to the congregation and community through puppet plays and musicals. Our puppet
company strives to offers a unique blend of comedy, drama, and music to people
of all ages.
United
Methodist Women
The
United Methodist Women serves as a meeting place for women to come together
and grow in their Christian faith. The organizations works to build a supportive
community among women, to be an advocate for the oppressed and dispossessed
with special attention to the needs of women and children, and to engage in
activities that foster growth in the Christian faith, mission education, and
christian social involvement throughout the organization.
The Newell UMW meet on the first Tuesday of each month at 7PM.
The Little Redstone UMW meet on the second Tuesday of each month at 6PM.
Youth
Fellowship
A
meeting place for young people hoping to grow stronger in their faith, the Youth
Group is a organization design to bring young people closer to God and, through
the group, spread the word to other with fundraisers, special performance, and
many other forms of outreach. The Youth group is available to all students in
grades 6-12, and it aims to provide a fun, thought-provoking, and spiritual
experience for its members and the congregation as a whole.
Newsletter
Each
month a newsletter is sent out to the members of the church and other interested
in our church. We not only inform of plans and activities going on in the parish
and community but also provide opportunities for spiritual growth. Some monthly
features of the newsletter include Thoughts from the Pond, a craft column, a
parish prayer list, a birthday list, and calendar of events and Bible study.
Many articles of special interest to everyone are also featured.

Vacation
Bible School
Each
church of the Redstone Parish will offer their own Vacation Bible School this
summer. That gives the children of the parish and community the opportunity
to attend any one of the programs at a time and week convenient to them. We
welcome all the children of the community to enjoy a week of learning about
God and his love for them through Bible stories, games, snacks, crafts, and
fun.
